How-To Use The Teatime Tunnel For Degus

1. Unwrap your Teatime Tunnel - Remove the tissue paper it is wrapped in and check that both ends of the cardboard tunnel are firmly secured with the loofahs.

2. Place it in your degus enclosure or playpen - Choose a spot where your degus naturally explore so they can discover it at their own pace.

3. Observe how your degus interact - Notice whether one degus solves the puzzle faster, whether they take turns, or whether they work together. Watch how long it takes them to pull apart or chew through the loofah.

4. Monitor chewing behaviour - If your degus begin excessively chewing/eating the cardboard tunnel itself, take the Teatime Tunnel out and remove any loose pieces. Although some chewing of the cardboard is safe, it is the forage inside that's for eating.
